Wear Plate

There is a metallurgical bond between the wear-resistant layer of the wear-resistant steel plate alloy and the matrix. Through special equipment, the automatic welding process is adopted to evenly weld the high-hardness self-protecting alloy welding wire on the substrate. The number of composite layers is one to two layers or even multiple layers, and uniform transverse cracks occur during the compounding process due to different alloy shrinkage ratios, which is a significant feature of wear-resistant steel plates.

The wear-resistant layer is mainly made of chromium alloy, and other alloy components such as manganese, molybdenum, niobium, nickel and so on are also added, and the carbides in the metallographic structure are distributed in a fibrous manner, and the fiber direction is perpendicular to the surface. The carbide microhardness can reach HV1700-2000 or more, and the surface hardness can reach HRc58-62. Alloy carbide has strong stability at high temperature, maintains high hardness, and also has good oxidation resistance, and is completely normal within 500 °C.

What are the thickness specifications of wear plates and commonly used welding wires:

Wear plates generally have 3+3, 4+2, 5+3, 5+4, 6+4, 6+5, 6+6, 8+4, 8+5, 8+6, 10+5, 10+6, 10+8, 10+10, 20+20, etc.;

Commonly used welding wire models for wear plates: LZ570, LZ590, LZ601, LZ606, LZ650, etc. (welding wire diameter: 2.4-3.2)

Apply:

  1. Thermal power plant: medium speed coal mill barrel liner, fan impeller nest shell, dust collector inlet flue, ash slag conduit, bucket turbine liner, separator connecting pipe, coal crusher liner, coal hopper and crusher liner, burner burner, falling coal hopper and hopper liner, air preheater bracket guard, separator guide blade. The above parts do not have too high requirements for the hardness and wear-resistant strength of the wear-resistant steel plate, and the wear-resistant steel plate with a thickness of NM360/400 can be used.
  2. Coal yard: feeding chute and hopper lining, hopper bushing, fan blades, pusher floor, cyclone dust collector, coke guide liner, ball mill lining, drill bit stabilizer, screw feeder bell and base, kneading machine bucket lining, annular feeder, dumper bottom plate. The working environment of the coal yard is harsh, and there are certain requirements for the corrosion resistance and wear strength of the wear-resistant steel plate, and it is recommended to use the wear-resistant steel plate with a thickness of NM400/450 HARDOX400 with a thickness of 8-26mm.
  3. Cement plant: chute lining, end bushing, cyclone dust collector, powder separator blades and guide blades, fan blades and lining, recycling hopper lining, screw conveyor bottom plate, pipeline components, frit cooling plate lining, conveyor trough liner. These parts also need wear-resistant steel plates with better wear resistance and corrosion resistance, and wear-resistant steel plates with a thickness of 8-30mmd can be used for NM360/400 HARDOX400.
  4. Loading machinery: unloading mill chain plate, hopper liner, grab blade plate, automatic dumper dumper dump plate, dump truck body. THIS REQUIRES A WEAR-RESISTANT STEEL PLATE WITH HIGH WEAR STRENGTH AND HARDNESS, AND IT IS RECOMMENDED TO USE A WEAR-RESISTANT STEEL PLATE MADE OF NM500 HARDOX450/500 THICKNESS OF 25-45MM.
  5. Mining machinery: ore, stone crusher liner, blade, conveyor liner, baffle. These components require extremely high wear resistance and are available in NM450/500 HARDOX450/500 wear-resistant steel plates with a thickness of 10-30mm.
  6. Construction machinery: cement pusher tooth plate, concrete mixing building, mixer liner, dust collector liner, brick making machine mold plate. It is recommended to use wear-resistant steel plate with a thickness of NM360/400 and 10-30mm.
  7. Construction machinery: loader, bulldozer, excavator bucket plate, side blade plate, bucket bottom plate, blade, rotary drilling rig drill pipe. This type of machinery requires particularly strong and wear-resistant steel plates, which are available in high-strength wear-resistant steel plates with a thickness of NM500 HARDOX500/550/600 with a thickness of 20-60mm.
  8. Metallurgical machinery: iron ore sintering machine, conveying elbow, iron ore sintering machine liner, scraper liner. Because this type of machinery requires wear-resistant steel plates with high temperature resistance and extreme hardness. Therefore, it is recommended to use HARDOX600HARDOXHiTuf series wear-resistant steel plate.
  9. Wear-resistant steel plate can also be used in sand mill barrels, blades, various freight yards, dock machinery components, bearing structural parts, railway wheel structural parts, rolls, etc.
